Very good food, price is right, very nice restaurant, very cozy, very recommendable

The daily fresh duck, based on the recommendation of the excellent service, was very tasty. Draft beer rounded off the evening perfectly

Is there good Bavarian cuisine, Lüngerl, Kslbsbein etc. ?

The price-performance ratio is very bad (wheat beer for over 5 €) and then the quality of the food was far from the price quoted (cold and not tasty). Only lives from the reputation of earlier times. !!! NO RECOMMENDATION !!!

The Kaiserschmarn is very good, I can only recommend it.

We have been coming for years and are always absolutely satisfied. Very friendly service and good food. The veal liver in particular is the best I've ever eaten.

Since roast pork is a plain cheek. Has nothing to do with the Bavarian culinary culture. And the service is just a tattooed, very unfriendly Bisgurn. About 14 euros for the Bledsinn. Thank you I take it.

For me one of the few places in Munich where you can get real Bavarian cuisine without frills. Several changing daily specials. Prices in the moderate city center level.

Very nice restaurant. was pleasantly surprised. The only drawback. The portions were very small. Especially for Bavaria. You can see it when you look through the pictures. Unfortunately, when we left the restaurant, we were called across the restaurant and everyone heard whether we had paid. It is clear to me that this may unfortunately be the case. We are honest and pay for what we consume. And we don't come here anymore ... We've been here before. But it didn't feel like it did before. Delicious Bavarian cuisine. In the inn, which traditionally faces the sixties, the young offspring will even be forgiven for the newly bought Bayern jersey.

Courteous service, tasty dishes, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, some guests are completely ignorant of corona rules.

Not really old, but in the tradition of the best Munich inns. Nice, cozy and in the best location. Good food, good beer and quick, friendly service. What more do you want.

Couldn’t pay with several debit or credit cards. I needed a german credit card and actually had to go to an atm to get cash.

It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't accept visa or mastercard, non-german bank cards. We had to go and find an ATM in order to pay cash.

One of the best pork i have ever eaten! So tender and full of taste. The best Bayern cuisine place availible for tourist in Munich. Dish and a beer list around 17€. Taste I superb. Service and inside perfectly traditional. Also very fast to eat. 20 minutes and I'm done! I recommend it !

I wouldn't give this place a full 4 stars, perhaps a 3.8. this was one of the few places that wasn't overcrowded in the area. Food was pretty good and I like the charm of the place, service is fast and it's a good place to get in our of the cold without feeling like the place is so crowded. It's a decent place, not great not bad.

It's proper

Beim Sedlmayr is situated just outside Marienplatz next to the market area and known for serving the best weis wurst in town. Our friend who's a local took us here and I don't regret any of it. I mean who doesn't like drinking weis beer and eating weis wurst at 9 AM in the morning.

Nice restaurant n barbarian food

A charming local establishment! We went on a Tuesday night, where locals seemed to gather weekly. On our visit, they were celebrating the chef/owner's 70th birthday. Quite a festive atmosphere. Our food was mostly roasted pork items with dumplings. Not the most balanced dishes in the world, but a worthy representation of local cuisine. Large portion sizes and friendly locals! Oh yes, the Kaiserschmarrn is a must for dessert!

Nice authentic bavarian food

This is a must if you want authentic experience of German food with locals. Try to get there before 12:00pm Monday - Friday to eat famous freshly made Weiss wurst (otherwise they get sold out fast)and meet the owner Rudy who is always there. You will love it, not a place for vegetarians...

Traditional house on the edge of the Viktualienmarkt. Food is mostly good. Service is nice friendly and fast. Restaurant is very busy, you should urgently reserve. The noise level in the guest room is high. For groups well suited for families with children rather less.

Very delicious food, hot food throughout, best Kaiserschmarrn in the world

Bavarian economy with fresh food of excellent quality, which is also the focus here. There is a wide range here from classic home cooking, such as Lüngerl or baked sweetbreads to fresh porcini mushrooms with duck liver. Noteworthy for me is the suckling pig, the stuffed veal breast, the Surhaxl and especially the Kaiserschmarrn.

Cash only (if you’re not a local?) fantastic place! Portions are large so consider splitting. Heartwarming and satisfying, with good service.

Very nice service. Food was good but not exceptional. Traditional Bavarian dishes.

Terrible stuff and place. Very unfriendly to traveler. Only welcome local German. Almost feeling racial discrimination when they just ask my family waiting outside even seeing there is old people. Totally not recommend to come if you don't live in German.

Literally the worst experience in my life. They did not accept credit card nor large bills of Euros.
